Summary

[edit]
Description
English: This is the unique machine in the Museo Galileo, that is a variation of the Carré machine, using two frictioned disks, one of glass and another of ebonite, to induce charge in the central disk. Observing better this machine, I notice that it lacks the voltage multiplier of the regular Carré machine, as charges are taken from the central disk directly in front of the induction disks. The high-voltage areas of the rotating disk would be apparently at the top and bottom, and the bottom is close to the structure. The current is multiplied, however. Something is strange with the tensioning pulley, that assembled in this way is making the cord rub against the support of the pulley.
