Description
Deutsch: Dargestellt ist eine beispielhafte Carnot-Batterie mit vier Speicherbehältern. Genutzt wird das Temperaturgefälle zwischen dem oberen "Wärmespeicher" und dem unteren "Kältespeicher". Beim Laden des Speichers mit der Wärmepumpe (links) wird dem Kältespeicher Energie entnommen und damit der Wärmespeicher erhitzt (Wärmeträger fließt vom linken in den rechten Behälter). Beim Entladen des Speichers kann die thermische Energie zur Erzeugung von elektrischer Energie genutzt werden. Auf niedrigerem Temperaturniveau, kann anschließend Fernwärme ausgekoppelt werden und der Kältespeicher regeneriert werden.
