Description

Photographs featuring the exterior and interior of the residence of Carl T. Philips. The caption reads: "This beautiful and substantial residence is located at 1365 Highland Street. It is built of pressed brick with cut stone trimmings. Has large front bay windows. It stands on an elevated terrace with lovely lawns surrounding. The interior has all the modern improvements. The furnishings of this house are complete, especially the rich designs of wallpapering. Mr. Phillips, who is the well known decorator, has done more toward beautifying the homes of Columbus than any other firm in the city." The home still stands as a private residence.
