English: A view of the Suffolk, Houghton, and Godolphin in action with two French ships of war off the Cape of Good Hope on 9 March 1757. Seven Years War (1756-63).

This engagement between the Hon. East India Company's ships Suffolk, Houghton and Godolphin resulted in the two French ships, Illustre and Balcine, being beaten off.
