Description

One of the shorter trails in Zion leads to one of the better views. This is what you'd see if you took the Canyon Overlook Trail. It's just a bit scary in parts, but not bad. You'll even walk through a "cave" along the way.
In the valley note the winding Utah Highway 9 (Mt. Carmel Highway) which leads you up to the trail head. It begins at the eastern end of the tunnels.

Across the canyon you can see such formations as "Altar of Sacrifice", "Mt. Kinesava," "Temple Formation".
