As the question about how to achieve less than 1:1 magnification with the Canon MP-E lens is frequently raised in forums, by testing I found that the sony VCL-DH175 (A Sony adapter to increase zoom in compact cameras) which has a 58mm ring, when placed in front of MP-E is capable to achieve this. So this converter decrease the magnification of the MP-E Usualy I don't use this on field (almost all my shoots, at this time are more closer than 1:1) but the question keeps being asked there is a find who answer the questions and have some interesting findings |
