If it works, don’t fix it. From the my first film camera when I was a teenager til 20 years later now, the Canon EOS line-up has served me well, and I do not plan on switching to another camp any time soon. Camera bodies: + Canon EOS 100 (my first camera) + Canon EOS 10D (my first digital SLR) + Canon EOS 7D (my crop-frame DSLR) + Canon EOS 6D (my full-frame DSLR) + Canon EOS M (my look-like-a-tourist cam) Lenses: + Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM (my wide angle zoom) + Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM (my regular zoom) + Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L USM (not very used these days) + Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS USM (great for birds) + Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM (macro photography) + Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM (last resort at night) + Canon EF-M f/2 STM (EOS M at night) + Canon EF 1.4x Extender III (used with the 70-200 often before I bought the 100-400) Speedlites: + Canon 580EX (my go-to) + Canon 430EX (not really used often, but sometimes used for slave flash) + Canon MT-24EX Macro Twinlite (used for macro only) + Canon ST-E2 (wireless transmitter. Not used much as I use PocketWizard mostly) + Canon 90EX (used to do the ST-E2 job because it is tiny) Acccessories: + Canon TC-80N3 (remote release) + Canon Angle C Finder (mostly for macro photography) + Canon GP-E2 (GPS logger) As with all good systems, they all fit together. Interchangeble is key.
