English: Canal warehouse, Ellesmere. Standing at the end of the Ellesmere arm, this Shropshire Union warehouse is in a sad condition. An application to convert it for use as a wine bar, as part of an overall development plan for the area, was turned down by the Deputy Prime Minister in 2003 and it is still derelict, see http://www.bbc.co.uk/shropshire/features/2004/05/ellesmere_wharf.shtml . |
