| Description |
English: Canal and Incinerator, Wolverhampton Seen from the A460 Cannock Road. These canal locks are Nos 6, 7 and 8 from the Wolverhampton flight of 21 on the Birmingham Canal Navigations Main Line. The canal meets the Staffordshire and Worcestershire Canal at Aldersley Junction, about a mile and a half on. because of anti-social activities, extra anti-vandal locks (!) have been put on the paddle gear to prevent misuse, and loss of water, possibly flooding locally. |
