| Description |
English: Camouflaged telephone mast on the Dunira Estate, Perthshire From a distance this looks like a rather unusual Scots pine. On closer inspection it is seen to be a much more contemporary planting : a microwave transmitter for mobile phone usage. The company involved has to pay a compensatory rent or fee to the landowner for the privilege of erecting it there, and the design blends into the local landscape. |
