Description
Español: El modificado edificio del Cabildo de Buenos Aires, como se veía hacia 1930: sin su torre, con su fachada modificada al estilo italiano y con su lado norte demolido por la construcción de la Avenida de Mayo en 1889. En 1931, sería demolido el extremo sur que todavía se puede ver en margen izquierdo de esta foto. Recién en 1940, el Cabildo sería restaurado recuperando su estilo colonial original. Al fondo, a la derecha, se observa el Palacio Municipal con su cúpula original de 65 metros, y el edificio del Banco Argentino Uruguayo terminado hacia 1928.
