Español: Figura 3. Micrografías electrónicas que muestran la cobertura de capilares fenestrados por procesos celulares de células madre neurales (NSC) similares a astrocitos/tanicitos y un amplio espacio perivascular en el ratón adulto.

Los capilares fenestrados de la AP estaban rodeados por los procesos celulares de NSC y dendritas (A) similares a astrocitos/tanicitos.
Había un amplio espacio perivascular que incluía pericitos entre las membranas basales interna y externa del OVLT. A menudo se encontró que los procesos celulares de NSC similares a astrocitos/tanicitos hacían contacto con la membrana basal externa (B).
Las flechas sólidas muestran los procesos celulares de las NSC.
Los asteriscos muestran dendritas similares a astrocitos/tanicitos.
