Description

Ese es el número de caballos que tienen las 10 locomotoras que Sorefame fabricó para CP en los 60. Las más potentes del país con 140Km/h hicieron servicios por la Linha da Beira Baixa, Oeste y Norte y luego más al sur cuando su vida tocaba a su fin.

Por suerte la 1801 se encuentra conservada en el museo de Entroncamento, en cuya parte de atrás está sacada esta foto. Esta locomotora en concreto, la 1805, en principio debería estar en estado operativo para el museo, pero lo último que se de ella es que está en Contumil esperando....algo, imagino. Hay quien dice que para trenes turísticos por el Duero.

Anotar que están basadas en las Class 50 de la British Railways.
