Nederlands: Deze platte, halfronde spleettrom wordt met een slaghout (28 cm. lang) aangeslagen. Aan weerszijden zijn handvatten uit het hout gesneden (een ervan is gebroken). De ronde (onder)kant van de spleettrom is versierd met geribde metalen plaatjes. Volgens de heer De Hen van het Midden-Afrika Museum in Tervuren, België, is de inheemse naam 'rigo' en is de spleettrom afkomstig uit de omgeving van Watsa, Gombari, Noord-Oost Congo (zie ook Grove, vol.3, blz.248.)
