Description |
Nederlands: Broodstempel met Arabische tekst in Kufisch schrift "kull hani'an", wat zoveel betekent als "eet met smaak". De stempel werd gebruikt om een tekst in het deeg aan te brengen voordat het brood de oven inging. In dit geval is de tekst positief aangebracht wat betekent dat het uiteindelijk in spiegelbeeld te lezen was op het brood (Watson 2004 p. 103). Datering is 9e of 10e eeuw na Christus. |
