Silver penny of Edward I, class 8c, London mint, dating 1294-1299. Obverse has the crowned bust of the king facing with the legend EDW R ANGL DNS HYB. The reverse has a long cross pattée, with 3 pellets in each quarter, dividing the legend CIVI/TAS/LON/DON.

Diameter: 17.2mm; thickness: 0.6mm; weight: 0.99g
