Description
English: Copper alloy mount. Sexfoil mount. Pressed sheet metal concavo-convex disc with six petals indicated by impressed dimples around a projecting central boss. A rivet of length 4.2mm and shank diameter 1.5mm passes through the centre of the mount, with its other end secured by a tiny [diameter 5mm] sheet metal rove. Suggested date: Late Medieval, 1350-1400
