Rispetto alla versione CM2, i cilindri funzionano per autorotazione. Nel complesso l'aereo energeticamente è anche molto più efficiente. Il sistema di controllo proporzionale prevede motore, timone ed equilibratore (Ottenuto variando l'assetto del motore).
