Object history
Deutsch: Die obere Hälfte zeigt den Genfersee und ein Segelboot, was auf die Lage auf dem See und die Bedeutung der kommerziellen und touristischen Schifffahrt hinweist. Die untere Hälfte symbolisiert die lokale Geschichte. Der Schlüssel bezieht sich auf die Tatsache, dass im Mittelalter ein großer Teil des Gebiets im Besitz der Bischöfe von Genf war. Als Wappen verwendete die Diözese zwei gekreuzte Schlüssel. Pfeil und Bogen beziehen sich auf einen Übungsplatz (Lieu de tir) für den „edlen Sport des Bogenschießens“, der im Jahr 1444 im Dorf erwähnt wurde.
