Summary[edit]

Description
English: CAGE profiling of promoter sites. CAGE tags can be sequenced, and aligned to the genome so that transcriptional activity and abundance levels can be measured. CAGE tags are beneficial because they can profile TSSs that are often missed by other microarray probes. Modified from "Basic CAGE technology" (http://fantom.gsc.riken.jp/protocols/basic.html) by FANTOM (http://fantom.gsc.riken.jp/5/), by RIKEN (http://www.riken.jp/en/) which is licensed under CC BY 4.0 ("https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0).
