Title
C78E27 late 16th century cloth seal
Description
English: Post Medieval lead alloy cloth seal, 22mm in diameter and 3mm thick. The seal has a white patina and appears to be a two part seal with one large disc with a smaller one embedded into it. The smaller disc has a raised portcullis design stamped into it, which is the official seal used to show that it had passed quality control and that tax had been paid.
