Summary[edit]

Description
English: Goods from a woman's grave at the cemetery of Kölked-Feketekapu A
  • Baranya County, Hungary

The cemetery of Kölked-Feketekapu comprises 695 corpse burials. Additional richly endowed grave groups have come to light at a remove of about 200 meters (Kölked-Feketekapu B). On the basis of the cultural diversity manifest in the costume components (Germanic, Avar, and Byzantine artifacts), the cemeteries of Kölked-Feketekapu are counted among the most interesting early medieval sites of the entire southern European area.

Grave 108 (center)

2. Two silver hair pins with spoon-shaped heads.
4. Needle box, silver.

Deutsch: Beigaben von einem Frauengrab im Gräberfeld von Kölked-Feketekapu A
  • Komitat Baranya, Ungarn

Das Gräberfeld von Kölked-Feketekapu umfasst 695 Körperbestattungen. Weitere reich ausgestattete Grabgruppen kamen in circa 200 m Entfernung zutage (Kölked-Feketekapu B).

Grab 108
