Summary[edit]

Description
English: Bushiribana Gold Smelting Plant was built in 1872 by the Aruba Island Gold Mining Company. This was the first gold smelting plant since they found gold on the island. The procedure required the chemical 'Mercury' which would then after steps, evaporate leaving only the gold. But the procedure was not very economical as it left half of the gold. Also, the factory was not very profitable. The Bushiribana Gold Smelting Plant closed after a new plant was opened in the Frenchman's Pass (which is the Balashi Gold Mill Plant). The ruins are left and could still be visited in Bushiribana, Aruba.
