| Description |
English: Routemaster coach RMC1510 (reg. 510 CLT), pictured operating the 2010 Imber bus service, the once a year service connecting the abandoned village of Imber in Wiltshire, to the rest of the world. The village of Imber was evacuated during World War II, and is now part of the Salisbury Plain army training estate. Having started its journey at Warminster station, RMC1510 is seen here heading east away from Imber, en route to the terminus at The Bustard Inn 51°12′50″N 1°52′13″W / 51.213803°N 1.870181°W. The destination display as seen here was incorrectly still showing the previous destination of Warminster station for the reverse journey, the correct one can be seen in this image of the bus moments earlier. |
