Description
English: Bus and Trams Outside Lakeside Tram Depot at Heaton Park. Manchester City Transport 3245 (JND646), a 1951 Metro Cammell bodied Leyland Titan visiting from the Museum of Transport poses alongside two trams from the Heaton Park Tramway fleet. Manchester Corporation Tramways 173 is a 4-wheel double deck tram built by Brush in 1901. Originally open top, it was later rebuilt with a top cover. 173 remained in service until 1931. Manchester Corporation 765 is a single deck California car built in 1914 for routes with low bridges.
