Description
English: The lottery or pelican is a water bird that has a sac under its beak, and is part of the Pelecanidae bird family. Together with the cormorant, snake-cormorant, gannet, rock geese, and kekang, they formed the order Pelecaniformes. Modern pelicans are found on all continents except Antarctica. They live generally in warm regions, and they are not found in arctic regions, deep seas, oceanic islands, and the South American continent.
