English: Cheese-making barn (buron) of mortared stonework under a four-sided thatched roof in the Mont-Dore, Puy-de-Dôme. It is a specimen of the "ancient type" of burons, as opposed to those of mortared stonework under a roof of slates or stone tiles. The edifice is on its way to ruin.
Français : Buron en pierres maçonnées sous toiture de chaume à quatre pans au Mont-Dore (Puy-de-Dôme). En ruine à l'époque du cliché, il représente l'"ancien type" de buron par rapport aux édifices en pierres maçonnées sous toiture de lauses ou d'ardoises. |
