For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
ADN-ZB-Lehmann-21.5.81-eng-Wettbewerb-Bez. Halle: Einheimisches Steinsalz - hier im Lager des Chlorbetriebes III des Chemiekombinates Bitterfeld - ist Ausgangsstoff für die Chlorproduktion, die gemeinsam mit der Produktion von Natronlauge die wichtigsten Grundchemikalien für den größten Teil der ca. 4 000 Erzeugnisse des Chemiekombinates bilden. Im Veredelungsprozeß steigt der Wert des Chlors z.B. bei chlorierten Polymeren auf das 24fache und bei Pflanzenschutzmitteln sogar auf das 97fache. - siehe auch Z 0521-1, 2 N -
