For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
ADN-ZB-Zimmermann-10.5.78-zi-Bez.Frankfurt-O.- Ein Verfahren zur Erhöhung der Terephthalsäureproduktion wurde von Arbeitern, Technikern und Ingenieuren im Stammbetrieb des Petrolchemischen Kombinates Schwedt gemeinsam entwickelt. Durch zusätzliches Einspeisen von Sauerstoff können in den Reaktoren jährlich rund 1 500 Tonnen Terephthalsäure zusätzlich produziert werden. Die Säure ist Ausgangsstoff zur Produktion der Grisuten-Faser. Zu den Mitgliedern des Neuererkollektivs zählten auch Gerhard Sichter, erster Anlagenfahrer, Ralf Gollasch, Betriebsingenieur, und Jürgen Weber, wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter (v.l.n.r.).
