Zentralbild Westerholz -Die größte Kalikippanlage Deutschlands in Wismar eingeweiht Im Hafen von Wismar wurde am 18. Juli 1950 die größte Kali-Kippanalge Deutschlands in Betrieb genommen. Sie arbeitet mit zwei Kippdrehscheiben, von denen je ein Eisenbahnwaggon um etwa 60 Grad empogehoben werden kann. Durch eine trichterförmige Vorrichtung rinnt die Kaliladung auf ein unterirdisch laufendes Transportband, das über 200 m das Kali bis zum Ufer, dort nach oben bis an den Leib des zu beladenden Schiffes trägt. Die Kalikippanlage hat eine Kapazität von rund 500 Tonnen je Stunde und dann drei Schiffe gleichzeitig beladen. UBz: Ein sowjetisches Schiff ladet Kali, das als Export der DDR in die UdSSR geht.
