For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild-Schaar-15.5.70-ch-Bezirk Halle: PVC-Rohre aus Bitterfeld für die Landwirtschaft-Hauptpunkte im Wettbewerb der Rohrpresserei des volkseigenen Chemiekombinates Bitterfeld sind die Aufholung der Planrückstände und die weitere Verbesserung der Qualität der PVC- Rohre. Die 160 Beschäftigten - auf unserem Foto bedient Anlagenfahrer und Gewerkschaftsvertrauensmann Kurt Meinhardt einen Extruder - ringen zum zweiten Male um den Titel "Kollektiv der sozialistischen Arbeit". Ein Großteil der hier produzierten Rohre mit Nennweiten von 10 bis 400 Millimeter finden in Be- und Entwässerungsvorhaben in der Landwirtschaft Verwendung. Nachdem die Buna-Werker das Chemiekombinat seit Mitte April wieder kontinuierlich mit PVC versorgen, gelang es dem Kollektiv der Rohrpresserei, die Produktion zu stabilsieren und in täglichen Rapports wird der Stand der Planerfüllung nach der Aufholekonzeption eingeschätzt und beraten." |
