For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild-Schaar ku 7.4.1961 Halle: Methanchlorierung im Elektrochemischen Kombinat Bitterfeld als Jugendobjekt übergeben. Um eine möglichst schnelle Aufnahme des Dauerbetriebes ringt gegenwärtig das junge Betriebskollektiv der neuerbauten Methanchlorierungsanlage des Elektrochemischen Kombinates Bitterfeld. Unser Bild zeigt Dipl.-Ing. Rudolf Eidner (vorn) und Chemie-Ingenieur Lothar Ebel, sie gehören zum Anfahrkollektiv, im zentralen Leitstand der Anlage. Diese neu, überwiegend von Jugendlichen erbaute und künftig betriebene Großanlage arbeitet nach einer völlig neuen Technologie, die wesentlich ökonomischer ist, als die bisherige Produktion von Methylenchlorid im alten Betrieb. Die Werkleitung übergab diese moderne Anlage als Jugendobjekt. Methylenchlorid ist ein wichtiger Rohstoff für die Filmherstellung. |
