Rostock, Fund aus der Turmspitze des Kröpeliner Tores Zentralbild Lehmann pe-pr 17.3.1967 Rostock: Interessanter Fund in der Turmspitze Einen interessanten Fund machten Handwerkeer bei der Reparatur des Dachreiters am Kröpeliner Tor in Rostock. sie fanden in einer Kupferkugel von 30 cm Durchmesser Rostocker Zeitungen aus dem Jahre 1891, ein Etatbuch und ein Adreßbuch der Stadt Ansichtenkarten, Münzen sowie Urkunden aus dem Jahre 1777. Der Klempner Karl-Heinz Graumann, Klempnermeister Edwald Sänger und der Zimmermann Adalbert Latzko (v.l.n.r.) entdeckten in der Kupferkugel (rechts im Bild) auch einen Brief, in dem vier Rostocker Handwerkergesellen einen großen Streik im Jahre 1890 zur Verkürzung der Arbeitszeit schildern. Den Brief legten die Gesellen ohne Wissen des "Hohen Rates" von Rostock zu den offiziellen Dokumenten.
