For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild-Link-11. 9. 1968 Frankfurt-Oder: Erdölverarbeitungswerk Schwedt-Das Erdölverarbeitungswerk Schwedt hat sich im letzten Jahr zum größten Kraftstoffproduzenten der DDR entwickelt. Jedes zweite Auto in der Republik fährt mit Benzin oder Dieselöl aus Schwedt. Bei den gegenwärtig im EVW dominierenden Prozessen der sogenannten primären Erdölverarbeitung entstehen Produkte wie Flüssiggas, Benzin, Petroleum, Dieselöl, Heizöl u. a. Mit dem weiteren Ausbau der Petrolchemischen Produktion werden vor allem auch bestimmte Grundstoffe für Plaste, Elaste, synthetische Fasern, Waschmittel und Textilveredlungsmittel gewonnen. Im Jahr werden gegenwärtig etwa 4,3 Millionen Tonnen Erdöl in Schwedt verarbeitet. 1971 werden es voraussichtlich rund 7 Millionen Tonnen sein. |
