For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild-Biscan Sta-At. 4.12.1962 Eine Reformierungsanlage, die diem Weltnivau entspricht baut der VEB Schwermaschinenbau Karl Liebknecht in Magdeburg für die erste Ausbaustufe des Erdölverarbeitungswerkes Schwedt-Oder, die in eineinhalb Jahren den Probebetrieb aufnehmen wird. Zu der Anlage gehören unter anderem mehrere Röhrenöfen, bei deren Entwicklung die Magdeburger Konstrukteure Pionierarbeit geleistet haben. Zur Zeit arbeiten die Modell-Konstrukteure des Werkes an maßstabgetreuen Modellen, die anstelle von Zeichnungen bei der Montage der Anlage als Arbeitsunterlage dienen werden. UBz.: Modellkonstrukteur Otto Braune bei der Arbeit an dem Modell eines Röhrenofens.
