For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Groß-Latenz, Mustern eines Versandkatalogs Zentralbild Jastrow 21.11.1960 Bessere Versorgung der Landbevölkerung durch Textilien-Bestelldienst im Bezirk Schwerin Zur Verbesserung der Versorgung der Landbevölkerung im Bezirk Schwerin haben der Konsumgenossenschaftsverband und die Großhandelsgesellschaft Textilien Mitte November einen Bestelldienst für Textilien eingerichtet. 499 Konsumverkaufsstellen sind in diese neue Handelsform einbezogen worden, so dass für Zehntausende die bisher erforderlichen langen Wege zum Einkauf in die Städte fortfallen. UBz: Feldbaubrigade Sawaky aus Rotenmeer (links) und Kollege Freese von der Feldbaubrigade in Groß-Latenz gaben an Hand des farbig illustrierten Warenkatalogs ihre Bestellung auf. Die Waren können sie innerhalb von zehn Tagen in Empfang nehmen.
