For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
LPG Lindchen, Vorstellung einer neuen Sämethode Zentralbild Müller-Harry 23.4.1960 Maisaussaat nach der Manukowski-Methode-16, 8 Prozent der landwirtschaftlichen Nutzflüche bebauen die Genossenschaftsbauern der LPG Lindchen im Kreis Calau mit Mais. "Wir bauen den Silomais ausschließlich im Quadratnestverfahren an, weil wir im vergangenen Jahr die besten Erfolge damit hatten", erklärte der LPG-Vorsitzende Lehmann. Die Aussaat, die Pflege und die Ernte des Maises übernimmt eine Maisbrigade der LPG, die nach der Manukowski-Methode arbeitet. UBz: Schichttraktorist Münzberg erklärt den interessierten Traktoristen aus den Kreisen Senftenberg und Hoyerswerda die Arbeitsweise der Brigade mit der Maismaschine. Das Kollektiv der LPW Lindoben hat sich das Ziel gestellt, bei einer Bodenwertzahl zwischen 18 und 20 etwa 550 bis 600 Dezitonnen des bewährten Futtermittels zu ernten.
