For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Schwanebeck, Sau beim Säugen Zentralbild Stöhr-Brüggemann 20.4.1960 Verstärkter Maisanbau sichert Futterbasis. 17% der LNF wird die LPG Schwanebeck im Kreis Belzig, Bez. Potsdam mit Mais anbauen. Dies bedeutet eine Steigerung gegenüber dem Vorjahr um 9 %. Damit will sich die LPG eine gute Futterbasis für die Erweiterung ihrer Viehwirtschaft, insbesondere der Schweinezucht, sichern. Allein von September 1959 bis April 1960 würde der Bestand an Zuchtsauen von 15 auf 40 Stück erhöht. Die Ferkelaufzucht soll auf 20 - 22 Ferkel je Sau im Jahr erhöht werden. UBz: Ein prächtiger Wurf mit 12 munteren Ferkeln.
