For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild-Stöhr Me 11.11.1959 Brandenburger Stahlwerker qualifizieren sich Der Verdiente Aktivist Arthur Mahler arbeitet als 1. Schmelzer am Ofen X im VEB Stahl- und Walzwerk Brandenburg. Die Brigade, der es angehört, kämpfte um den Titel "Brigade der sozialistischen Arbeit" und erfüllte als erste Ofenbrigade des Werkes am 25.9.59 den Plan mit 80%. Bis zum Jahresende will die Brigade den Plan mit 7000 to übererfüllen. An diesen Leistungen hat Arthur Mahler hervorragenden Anteil. Um noch qualifizierter bei der Erfüllung der Aufgaben im 7-Jahrplan mitzuwirken, nimmt Arthur Mahler am Meisterlehrgang der Betriebsakademie des Werkes teil. UBz: Unter den Stahlwerkern, die auf der Betriebsakademie studieren, der Schmelzer Arthur Mahler (rechts)." |
