For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild-Mellahn Ba. 31.10.1959 Die Öltanks aus Gorki in Rostock eingetroffen. Im neuen Rostocker Ölhafen sind die ersten fünf der vorgesehenen 12 Öltanks mit einem Fassungsvermögen von insgesamt 36 800 Kubikmetern montiert worden. Die teilweise 12 Meter hohen Tanks werden in Kubischew industriell nach modernsten Verfahren gefertigt, so daß die Behälter am Ankunftsort nur noch mit Winden aufgerollt und verschweißt werden müssen. Zwei sowjetische Ingenieure aus Gorki, die schon viele Anlagen dieser Art in ihrem Heimatland aufgebaut haben, geben dabei unseren Monteuren wertvolle Unterstützung.
