For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
LPG Guesow, Planung der Ernte ZB-Zimmermann 4.7.1957 MTS Pütz auf die Ernte gut vorbereitet. Die vier Mähdrescher der MTS Pütz (Kreis König-Westerhausen) vom Typ "Patriot" sind einsatzbereit. Den Mähdrescherführern sind die Einsatzpläne für den gesamten Ernteablauf bekannt. Sie werden gemeinsam mit den LPG "Johannes F. Bacher" in Mittenwald, "Aufbau" in Guesow und der LPG "Deutsch-Sowjetische Freundschaft" in Schenkendorf erarbeitet. Die MTS arbeitet zur Zeit in Tag- und Nachtschichten. Schon 48 Stunden nach der Rapsmahd beginnt die Aussaat der Zwischenfrucht, bestehend aus Mais, Süßlupine, Sonnenblumen und Wicken (zum Einsilieren). Durch die schnelle Bodenbearbeitung wird die natürliche Bodenfeuchtigkeit erhalten. UBz: (vlnr) Der TAN-Sachbearbeiter Horst Klepsch, Traktorist Günter Klemm und der Agronom Rudolf Grassen legen fest, zu welcher Belastungsgruppe der Republiksschichtnern dieses Feld der LPG "Aufbau" gehört.
