For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Konstrukteure Maschine inspizierend Zentralbild Schlegel Wo-Qu 22.1.1957 Privatbetrieb exportiert in über 20 Länder Die Firma Emil Wirth in Hartmannsdorf, Kreis Karl-Marx-Stadt, konnte seit Anfang 1954 mehr als 100 Schnellkettenwirkmaschinen in über 20 Länder liefern. Siese exzenterlosen Wirkmaschinen gehören zu den leistungsfähigsten der Welt. Mit einer Laufgeschwindigkeit bis zu 1000 Maschenreihen lassen sich mit ihr in der Minute bis zu 0,7 Quadratmeter Stoffe herstellen. Das diesjährige Exportprogramm des Privatbetriebes ist wiederum sehr umfangreich. Dabei wird der Umsatz gegenüber 1956 um 25 Prozent gesteigert. Im Vormonat wurden mehrere Werktätige der Firma für ihren hervorragenden Anteil an der Exportplanerfüllung des Betriebes vom Rat des Bezirkes mit Prämien in Höhe von insgesamt 2500 DM ausgezeichnet.
