Zentralbild Zühlsdorf 28.5.1956 Betriebspoliklinik "Dr. Georg Groscurth" beim VEB Stahl- und Walzwerk Brandenburg Im Gesundheitswesen der DDR spielt neben der privatärztlichen Behandlung die Gesundheitsbetreuung der Werktätigen durch Polikliniken eine wichtige Rolle. Die Behandlung in einer Poliklinik bieten dem Kranken viele Vorteile, da die Polikliniken schon rein technisch mit den modernsten Apparaten und Geräten zur Diagnostik und Heilbehandlungen ausgerüstet sind. Sodann steht für den Patienten ein grösseres Ärztekollektiv für alle Spezialgebiete der Heilkunde in den Polikliniken zur Verfügung. Die Regierung der DDR förderte durch die Bereitstellung von Mitteln besonders den Bau moderner Polikliniken in den Zentren der sozialistischen Wirtschaft unserer Republik. Auch beim Stahl- und Walzwerk Brandenburg a.d.Havel (SWB) entstand ein solches "Haus der Gesundheit". Diese moderne Poliklinik erhielt den Namen des im Zuchthaus Brandenburg durch die Nazis ermordeten Arztes Dr. Georg Groscurth. UBz: : Das Rezept, das der Arzt für den kleinen Peter ausschrieb (Familienangehörige sind bei der Sozialversicherung der DDR mitversichert und werden auch in den Betriebspolikliniken kostenlos behandelt) löst die Mutter in der Apotheke der Betriebspoliklinik bei der appr. Apothekerin Helga Schwarzlose ein. |
