For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.

Auf eine nette Idee, die Sammeltätigkeit der Kinder nach Altstoffen zu entfachen, kamen die Kollegen des VEB Altstoffe. Für insgesamt 3 kg Papier, Knochen oder Lumpen, die natürlich bezahlt werden, dürfen die eifrigen Sammler eine Runde in einem richtigen Auto mit Benzinmotor fahren. Bis zum 10. Juni 1956 wird diese Sammelstelle am Berliner Alex bestehen bleiben. Anschliessend werden die Kollegen des VEB Altstoffe mit ihren Wagen für jeweils einen Monat in die einzelnen Bezirke geben.

UBz: Edith Stahnke konnte zwar noch keine 3 kg Altstoffe abgeben, aber auch sie darf den "Nafa Pionier" einmal ausprobieren. Sicher wird die nun eifrig sammeln, um weitere Fahrten machen zu können."
