For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Marisfeld, Bau der MTS
Zentralbild Bez.Red.Erfurt (Wittig-Wehse) 10.7.1956 Neue Maschinen- und Traktorenstation entsteht im Kreis Suhl. Seit Beginn dieses Jahres arbeiten die Kollegen des VEB Bau-Union in Marisfeld, Kreis Suhl, am Bau einer neuen Maschinen- und Traktorenstation, die nach ihrer Fertigstellung im Jahre 1957 die Genossenschaftsbauern und werktätigen Einzelbauern der umliegenden Bergdörfer betreuen wird. Bis Ende 1956 wird der erste Maschinenschuppen, das Heizhaus und die Werkstatt, in die eine Kranbahn vom VEB ABUS Leipzig eingebaut wird, fertiggestellt sein. Das kommende Jahr sieht dann den Bau von zwei weiteren Maschinenschuppen, den Bau des Verwaltungsgebäudes und der Garage vor. UBz: Der kleine Bagger Jumbo von der Firma Panhard (Paris) bewegt pro Schicht 120 cbm Erde. Er ist ein kleiner Hoch- und Tieflöffelbagger, der mit Öldruck äusserst schnell und beweglich arbeitet. Im Vordergrund ein Dumper aus der Volksrepublik Ungarn, der die ausgebaggerte Erde befördert. Auf dem Bauplatz der neuen MTS. |
