For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild-Schw. Hein-Qu 9.6.1955 Durch Wettbewerb und Neuerermethoden zu höherer Arbeitsproduktivität und größerer Leistung Seit Jahren stehen die Arbeiter des VEB Niles- Preßluftwerkzeuge, Berlin-Pankow, im Wettbewerb, der ständig ausgewertet zu hohen Leistungen führte. Im Jahre 1954 hat dieser betrieb mit ca. 300 Belegschaftsmitgliedern 1.7 Mill.DM Gewinn dem Staatshaushalt zugeführt. Während 1954 im Quartal jeder Beschäftigte durchschnittlich 2160DM Werte schuf, sind es im 1.Quartal 1955 je Beschäftigter 2225.-DM. Die Preßluftwerkzeuge werden in die Volksdemokratien auch in das kapitalistische Ausland exportiert.
