Zentralbild/Heilig, 6.5.1955 Präsident Pieck verlieh an hervorragende Persönlichkeiten den Vaterländischen Verdienstorden in Gold Am 6.5.1955 verlieh Präsident Pieck in seinem Amtssitz in Berlin-Niederschönhausen zu Ehren des 10. Jahrestages der Befreiung vom Faschismus den Vaterländischen Verdienstorden in Gold an hervorragede Persönlichkeiten für ihren Kampf gegen den Faschismus und ihre Verdienste um den Aufbau der Deutschen Demokratischen Republik. UBz: Präsident Wilhelm Pieck überreicht Karl Schirdewan, Mitglied des Politbüros der SED, die Urkunde und beglückwunscht ihn zu seiner Auszeichnung.
