For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Loburg, Einzelbauer Zentralbild Biscan-8.6.1954 Bauern und Landarbeiter stimmen für den Frieden . "Ich habe genug vom letzten Krieg", erklärt der Werktätige Einzelbauer Leopold Abram im Loburg bei Magdeburg." Bei der Volksbefragung werde ich für den Frieden stimmen, weil ich nicht noch einmal meine Heimat verlieren will. Der Generalvertrag und die anderen Kriegsverträge können nur neues Unglück über das deutsche Volk bringen. Wir brauchen einen gerechten Friedensvertrag, der uns die Möglichkeit bietet, unser Schicksal in die eigenen Hände zu nehmen."
