For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild Rösener 19.1.1953 IFA Schleppwerk Schönebeck produziert mit vollen Rohren Landmaschinen für die Frühjahrsbestellung.

Von großer Bedeutung für die Bearbeitung landwirtschaftlicher Großflächen ist der "Maulwurf-Geräteträger" der im IFA-Schlepperwerk Schönebeck (Kreis Magdeburg) hergestellt wird. Er kann wechelseitig mit Rübenhackgeräten, Grasmähbalken, Kartoffelpflegegeräten und Obstbaumspritzen gekoppelt werden. In der Montagehalle studieren 40 Traktoristen die Arbeitsweise des "Maulwurfen" und seiner Aufhängegeräte, um anschließend für acht Tage in den Traktoristenschulen der DDR ihr Wissen an die Kollegen weiterzugeben.
