Borna, Vertriebene ADN-ZB Illner-18.10.1950-Gemeine Brandstiftung zur Sabotage der Volkswahlen. Verbrecherische Elemente, die im Dienst der angloamerikanischen Imperialisten stehen, haben in der Nacht zum Wahlsonntag in der Gemeinde Borna, Kreis Oschatz, die Stallungen von 12 Neubauern in Brand gesteckt. Einwohner und Feuerwehr konnten das Vieh retten und eine weitere Ausbreitung des Brandes verhindern. Der Schaden beläuft sich auf 50.000 DM. Umfangreiche Hilfsmaßnahmen wurden sofort eingeleitet. Sie trugen dazu bei, daß am Wahlmorgen alle Wahlberechtigten ihre Stimmen den Kandidaten der Nationalen Front gaben. UBz: Frau Kretschmar, Umsiedlerin aus Schlesien, sagte: "Wir hatten unser Soll über 100 Prozent erfüllt. Nun haben uns die Verbrecher unsere Nahrung und die für Vieh verbrannt. Man hätte den Mut verloren, aber es hat gleich eine so tatkräftige Hilsaktion eingesetzt, so daß wir Geschädigten selber mitgerissen werden".
